A piece eventually breaks off, sending both of them into a boulder field. They play hide-and-seek a while. Julius then takes off his fur and sends it out as a decoy while he sneaks up behind the bad guy with a club and beats him into the ground. Alice comes up to thank him; ashamed by his nakedness, he hides behind a rock and puts his fur back on, then accepts her thanks.

A Pinkerton agent masquerades as a criminal in order to infiltrate a gang of counterfeiters that is using wealthy widow Lucy Randall as a front. Arriving at the gang's hideout the Dawson ranch, Red discovers that the counterfeiting ring is headed by Mrs. Randall's attorney J. Richard Spencer and Dawson himself.
The story of a pair of bumbling detectives Uruguayan undertaking the mission to go to the aid of an orphan and very rich heiress to Argentina. It will be very easy to deal with the thousand and one difficulties awaiting them on the road. They are attacked from the rear by the emigrants and from the front by the settlers. In a wild scene of carnage the surprised Indians are mowed down by the hail of bullets, horses and riders falling in tangled masses.
