Girl named Zhenya goes berry picking with her family but struggles to find any berries. She meets an old forest spirit who offers her a magical pipe that reveals hidden berries in exchange for her jug. After realizing the pipe doesn't help her gather the berries, she learns the value of hard work and eventually fills her jug by picking the berries herself.
It all began quite suddenly. Akihito, who appears human but is actually half yomu with the power to quickly heal himself, sees a freshman girl who appears ready to jump from the school rooftop. The girl, Mirai, who has the ability to manipulate blood, which is unique even among members of the spirit world, continues to fight her isolation. An insurance salesman enters Magoo's house hoping to make a sale. Magoo refuses but the salesman is eventually able to sell Magoo some by posing as one of Magoo's old college chums. Magoo is now worth a hefty sum and is ready to collect after being bitten by a dog (actually a tiger rug) but, instead of going to the insurance building, enters a building under construction next door to it. The salesman and his boss notice Magoo walking around the steel skeleton of the building and realizing, "If he falls, the company falls", they rush over making several attempts to save Magoo's life and keep him from endangering himself.
Mater finds a small UFO called Mator and they have a night out. Later, when Mator is captured by military forces, Mater sneaks up and saves him with the help of Lightning McQueen and the UFO's mother.

The two fight over who is able to return the artifact and ultimately it is revealed that Lacey is actually Agent Xero in disguise. After being revealed, she foils the Baron's plans and Xero and her sidekick Katz return the eye, though not before her communication bracelet is seized...
