An independent movie from 1990 highlighting the valor of the men who served in Vietnam. Ramon, an American soldier, is newly added to a platoon of Marines ordered into Cambodia to extract a Russian general named Zelenkov. As Ramon arrives in the camp, the audience gets to know each member of the team, and Ramon suffers from the normal hazing of a new team member. The soldiers successfully land in Cambodia and extract the general, but an elite troop of Russian paratroopers tracks them down. Several battles follow, with many redemptive acts of sacrifice.

Empowered by this document, Germany invaded Poland on 1. September 1939. Two days later Britain and France declared war on Germany. The Second World War was on. Due to the territorial divisions of the secret annex protocol, Finland ended up the target of attacks lunched by the Soviet Union, first on 30. November 1939 (the Winter War) and then again on 25. June 1941 (the Continuation War). In spite of the harsh conditions and having to fight an overwhelming enemy, Finland managed to keep her independence.
On the last leg of of a train ride from Moscow to Manchuria during the early years of World War Two, one of the passengers suddenly disappears. All of the other passengers, including military personnel and civilians from both the Axis powers and Allied nations, have reasons to be suspected. As the remaining passengers investigate, more murders are committed, until at last the political and personal motives of the killer (killers?) are unravelled.

This movie expresses deep expressionism of the 20th century through it`s visuals and audio. What Kafka wanted to express in a whole 50 page book, we here expressed in 30 seconds. The so called Gregor Samsa (Samsa is actually a playword-Kafka) lays himself to sleep, as he is supernaturally awoken, through pain and angst, as an insectoid. He can now only be engulfed by this horror and scream himself only to fall asleep yet again (forever).
